About Us

Gamma Phi Beta was founded November 11, 1874, at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Today, Gamma Phi Beta has over 119 active collegiate chapters and over 171 alumnae groups throughout the United States and Canada with more than 160,000 members worldwide.

Every member of Gamma Phi Beta is selected to lifetime membership in the international Sorority.  There are more than 170 alumnae groups across North America, giving members opportunities to socialize, serve and lead outside of college.

The 30th Birthday Celebration was held on May 10th, 1986 at the River House with The Gamma Phi Beta Grand President, Ann Bronsing attending.  Ann is a former member of the Evansville Alumnae Chapter.
